Dogecoin Creator Questions Ethereum's Performance

Billy Markus, also known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto on the X platform, has commented on Ethereum's underperformance compared to Bitcoin and Dogecoin.

Markus shared charts showing Bitcoin and Dogecoin experiencing positive gains, while Ethereum was in the red zone.

"Is Ethereum retarded or something?" Markus tweeted.

Ethereum's Price Fluctuations

Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency, has fluctuated within a range since the weekend. It has attempted to break above $3,215, achieving it briefly on Saturday and Monday. However, Ethereum has since dropped to $3,080 and is currently trading at $3,127.

Bitcoin's Rise

Bitcoin, on the other hand, has shown a consistent uptrend. It has increased by 7.13% since Tuesday, reaching $93,975 before slightly retreating to $93,308.

Dogecoin's Surge

Dogecoin, the meme cryptocurrency, has also performed well. It surged from $0.34 to $0.42 on Tuesday, an increase of nearly 21%. It has since pulled back to $0.39243.

Analyst's Prediction for Ethereum

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez believes Ethereum is poised to outperform Bitcoin. He suggests that ETH could reach $4,000 and potentially $6,000. Martinez points to whale purchases of over $1.4 billion in Ethereum as evidence of this potential surge.

Martinez notes that Ethereum is forming an ascending parallel channel, indicating that it is targeting $4,000 and then $6,000.
