Rex Files for ETF Registration with Altcoin/Meme Coin Funds

At 10:40 PM last night (21st), Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas announced that Rex has submitted new ETF registration documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) совместно с Osprey Funds и Rex Shares.

The documents include altcoin/meme coin funds for TRUMP, DOGE, BONK, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana, challenging the SEC's stance on memecoins.

Each proposed fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in its designated reference asset, either through direct holdings or derivatives. Balchunas described the filings as "surreal."

TRUMP's Market Cap Declines from Peak

Despite the low likelihood of short-term SEC approval, the ETF application marks a significant milestone for the meme coin TRUMP. However, the price of $TRUMP has not been influenced by the news, falling by nearly 50% to $37.77 at the time of writing.
