Coinbase Lists Dogwifhat on Solana Network (SPL Token)

Coinbase has announced the listing of Dogwifhat on the Solana network (SPL token). Coinbase's chief legal officer, Paul Grewal, confirmed the addition of the meme coin to the exchange's listing roadmap.

The crypto exchange revealed that trading for Dogwifhat (WIF) on the Solana network is scheduled to begin on November 13 at 3:30 pm.

"Coinbase will add support for Dogwifhat (WIF) on the Solana network (SPL token)," the exchange stated. "Once sufficient supply of this asset is established, trading on our WIF-USD trading pair will launch in phases. Support for WIF may be restricted in some supported jurisdictions."

The announcement has reignited optimism similar to when Coinbase initially expressed support for Dogwifhat perpetual futures on Coinbase International.

Price Increase for Dogwifhat

The news has spurred an increase in the price of Dogwifhat, with the meme coin joining Pepe, which rose 39%, and Dogecoin, which gained 2.08%.

The price of Dogwifhat jumped by over 37%, reaching record highs of $4.21. This is the highest price level for the meme coin since March, when it reached an all-time high of $4.83.

Earlier in the day, Pepe meme coin also saw a surge in price due to the prospect of being listed on Coinbase. Coinbase has since officially listed the meme coin, a significant development for Pepe.
