In the past 24 hours, popular cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has expanded its offerings of meme coins by listing two new assets: Pepe (PEPE) and Dogwhithat (WIF).
Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal announced the addition of PEPE to Coinbase's platform, responding to overwhelming community demand. Shortly after, Coinbase also announced the listing of Dogwhithat, a Solana-based meme coin.
WIF Now Available on Coinbase
Users can now buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store Dogwhithat (WIF) on Coinbase's iOS and Android apps, according to a recent tweet.

Coinbase's decision to list these meme coins aligns with the growing interest in this asset class. In the past week, meme coins have outperformed the market, with DOGE, PEPE, WIF, and BONK showing significant gains.
Impressive Debut for PEPE and WIF
Both PEPE and Dogwhithat (WIF) experienced notable price increases following their Coinbase listings. PEPE surged by over 80%, while Dogwhithat gained 36%.
PEPE has seen an exceptional surge of 78% since its launch on Coinbase, reaching new all-time highs. The coin is currently worth $0.00002122, with a market capitalization of $8.93 billion.
Dogwhithat (WIF) is currently ranked 26th by market capitalization, with a valuation of $4 billion. Its price has risen by 32% in the past 24 hours, bringing it to $4.01.
