Shibarmy Scam Alerts, a Twitter/X account that posts warnings about scammers targeting the Shiba Inu army, has announced the emergence of a new fake account impersonating pseudonymous SHIB leader Shytoshi Kusama on social media.
Earlier this week, the account issued a similar warning about top SHIB developer Kaal Dhairya.
SHIB Army Warned About Fake Kusama Account
The tweet includes two screenshots of the fake Shytoshi Kusama account, cautioning the SHIB army that such accounts are frequently created by scammers to disseminate misleading information, misdirect users to fraudulent websites, and obtain personal data for malicious purposes.
The tweet emphasizes the importance of staying connected with official members of cryptocurrency projects. No genuine SHIB team member will ever contact users privately to request personal data or wallet connections to external platforms.

Shytoshi Kusama Sends Message to Community
Earlier this week, SHIB team member Lucie shared Kusama's important message to the Shiba Inu community.
Kusama announced the upcoming release of the new ShibaSwap decentralized exchange iteration 1.75, promising earlier than expected. He described the upgraded DEX as "where community tokens thrive, creating a dynamic marketplace filled with unique projects, causes, and #SHIBARMY members."
ShibaSwap now operates not only on the Ethereum blockchain but has also been bridged to Shibarium. Lucie emphasized the significance for Shibarium users, as they need to transfer their Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens back to Ethereum to access various products and services.
She stressed that the development is ongoing and will continue on a global scale for Shibarium.
Justin Sun Praises SHIB and Other Meme Coins
At the recent Token 2049 event in Dubai, Tron founder and crypto billionaire Justin Sun spoke positively about SHIB and other meme coins. He praised them for highlighting "the power of community in crypto," despite their perceived lack of utility.
Cryptocurrency influencer David Gokhshtein expressed a similar view a few years ago, suggesting that DOGE and SHIB have the potential to attract new users to crypto, particularly Bitcoin.
