Crypto Liquidations Jump: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin Traders Impacted
In the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market has witnessed a surge in liquidations, affecting major players such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Dogecoin (DOGE). Despite recent price increases, these cryptocurrencies have experienced significant losses due to forced sell-offs.
According to Coinglass data, Bitcoin liquidations reached $84.35 million, while ETH traders faced losses of $19.81 million. Dogecoin investors liquidated $12.62 million. Other cryptocurrencies, such as Sui Network (SUI), saw $11.94 million liquidated.
Overall, a staggering $184.13 million was liquidated, with 52,068 traders affected. This includes $519.31 million in long positions and $65.08 million in short positions. The largest single order liquidation occurred on OKX exchange for Bitcoin, amounting to $88.48 million.
Short liquidations totaled $7.69 million across exchanges, with $3.69 million wiped off from the global crypto market.
