Meme coins, inspired by internet memes and trends, dominated CoinGecko's crypto narrative chart, accounting for % of all listed crypto categories. Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Pepe (PEPE), Dogelon Mars (ELON), and Bonk (BONK) were among the top five performers. Data from CoinMarketCap shows a 2.8% increase in the total market capitalization of meme coins over the past 24 hours, reaching $5.9 billion.
