South Korea, which has been in the spotlight due to suspicious cryptocurrency transactions by a parliament member, has again made headlines with the cryptocurrency assets of several of its lawmakers.
According to Korea News 1, a local news agency, the cryptocurrency holdings of Korean politicians have been revealed.
Key Findings
- People's Power Party member Park Soo-min holds the most valuable virtual asset: a Hunminjeongeum Haeryebon NFT worth 100 million won.
- Lee Jun-seok of the Reform Party reported owning 45 types of virtual assets.
- Jeong Jin-wook of the Democratic Party of Korea declared that his wife and eldest son own 20,147,000 won in virtual assets.
- Democratic Party member Park Hee-seung reported that his eldest son possesses $16,965,000 worth of virtual assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), and Paycoin.
- Mo Kyung-jong of the Democratic Party disclosed owning 400 Dogecoin (DOGE) worth 2,061,000 won.
