Doge DAO Owns the Doge Image!

The DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) behind the “Own The Doge” group made an announcement that they have acquired the copyright to the Shiba Inu behind the popular Doge meme and the Dogecoin cryptocurrency symbol.

The Shiba Inu’s name, which is Kabosu, the pup turned an internet celebrity in 2010 when the owner Sato Atsuko posted Kabosu’s photo online. From the confused expression photo, which rapidly spread and became a meme called “Doge,” to the non fungible token (NFT) sales recorded on various cryptocurrency marketplaces, Dogecoin has truly established itself as a one-of-a-kind cryptocurrency.

Leaders John Monarch and Tridog of “Own the Doge ” project said that the deal with Sato has been reached to acquire the rights of the title for their project. This resolution shall bolster the copyright issues and create a pathway for co-operations with the prominent brands. The developers won’t restrict people from creating Doge memes or spreading a community spirit because they want to bring the developers and the users under a single umbrella.
