Dogwifhat, Floki, Dogecoin soar as crypto market cap spikes 7.77%

,Saturday’s price action tells a story of bullish momentum and a resurgence of interest in digital assets, driving the broader cryptocurrency market cap up by a notable 7.77% to a staggering $2.37 trillion. 
The meme coin market was not left behind, registering a 16.7% uptick in the last 24 hours, giving the sector a value of $57.7 billion, according to CoinGecko.
Here are the standouts.
Dogwifhat
Leading the charge among big-cap meme coins was Dogwifhat (WIF).
The Solana-based cryptocurrency — launched on Nov. 20, 2023 — witnessed a remarkable 23% surge in the last 24 hours, accompanied by an impressive 28.65% increase over the past week.

Currently trading at $3.37, WIF boasts a market cap just north of $3.4 billion, which ranks it fourth among meme coins and 33rd in the overall crypto market.
Floki
Floki (FLOKI), another dog-inspired token, has seen its price soar to $0.0001994, representing a notable 21.58% increase over the past 24 hours.

Additionally, Floki’s price has surged 18.11% over the last seven days.
And the dog-themed meme coin, launched in September 2021 on the heels of a viral tweet by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, continues to demonstrate sustained upward momentum.
The green turn is evident in Floki’s 14-day price chart, showing a jump of more than 44%.

Dogecoin
Dogecoin (DOGE), another canine-themed digital asset, has surged by an impressive 20.27% in the last 24 hours.
The digital asset, introduced in December 2013, currently trades at $0.159.

Over the past week, DOGE — like Dogwifhat and Floki — has continued its upward trajectory, marking a substantial 10.46% increase in price, according to CoinMarketCap.
This surge in value was also witnessed across 14 days, with the meme coin 4.4% higher than it was two weeks ago. However, the price is still 12.3% lower over 30 days.
Not to be outdone, other meme coins have also posted double-digit gains in the last 24 hours.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) has surged by 11.98%, trading at $0.00002553, while Pepe (PEPE) has experienced a remarkable 16.69% increase over the past week.
Bonk (BONK) has also seen its price rise by 11.51% in the last 24 hours, reaching $0.00002915.
