Solana Meme Coin Dogwifhat Outperforms Dogecoin and Shiba Inu

Solana-based meme coin dogwifhat (WIF) has surpassed both Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) in daily trading volume, according to CoinGecko.

Over the past 24 hours, WIF has traded close to $600 million, while another meme coin, Pepe (PEPE), sits in second place with $518 million.

In contrast, DOGE, the undisputed leader in the meme coin sector, ranks third with $424 million. Shiba Inu, the second-largest meme coin, trails with a trading volume of $172 million, falling behind Bonk (BONK) and Floki Inu (Floki Inu), which have recorded $208 million and $191 million, respectively.

These figures indicate a growing interest in emerging meme coins over established market leaders.

Meme Coin Revival

The entire meme coin sector has experienced a resurgence, with prominent coins like WIF and Bonk posting double-digit gains. Financial analyst Murad Mahmudov suggested that a descending wedge pattern could be forming on higher time frames.

PeiPei (PEIPEI) has emerged as a notable performer, with its trading volume nearing $150 million. The altcoin has risen by 37% in the past 24 hours, becoming one of the top-performing cryptocurrencies among the top 10.
