The 109th running of the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" takes place on Memorial Day weekend, May 25th, attracting over 350,000 in-person spectators and a global audience spanning over 140 countries. This year features a historic partnership, placing a Dogecoin-branded race car center stage and empowering fans to vote on DeFrancesco's Indy 500 car design.

Dogecoin and DeFrancesco: A Shared Story of Speed and Resilience

DeFrancesco, born 15 weeks premature and weighing just one pound, faced significant health challenges early in life. His remarkable recovery has inspired him to use his racing career to give back to critically ill children. As a dog lover and Dogecoin enthusiast, he's personally donating $25,000 in Dogecoin to the Riley Children’s Foundation in Indianapolis, affiliated with Riley Children’s Health, a leading pediatric care center.

This partnership marks a significant moment in motorsport, with DeFrancesco committing to receive $100,000 of his salary in Dogecoin, a bold step towards crypto adoption in professional sports. "I first invested in Dogecoin in 2020," Devlin shared, "and I'm thrilled to be part of the community and an ambassador for its vision."

Fan Voting: Shaping Dogecoin History at the Indy 500

The House of Doge, the Dogecoin Foundation, and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing are launching a fan contest to select the official race car and helmet design for DeFrancesco's Indy 500 entry. From March 19th to March 25th, fans can vote on their favorite design and enter a drawing to win a Dogecoin wallet loaded with $1,000. The three design options are:
