Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange OKX has announced support for three new memecoins:

• BasedBrett (BRETT): The largest memecoin on the Base blockchain, initiated by Coinbase.
• Simon's Cat (CAT): Launched on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) and distributed to Floki (FLOKI) holders via airdrop.
• Neiro (NEIROETH): Describes itself as the "official sister of DOGE" and aims to make history on Ethereum.

These memecoins will be supported for perpetual futures trading with USDT-margined contracts.

Market Values and Performance:

• BRETT: $683 million market cap, down 40% since August.
• CAT: $187 million market cap, up 152% since its all-time low.
• NEIROETH: $128 million market cap, up 449% since its all-time low.

OKX's Philosophy:

OKX CEO Star Xu emphasizes that the exchange is not aiming to be aggressive in listing new tokens and prioritizes building infrastructure and transparency.
