Ramasamy and Musk Unite to Reduce Federal Expenditure
Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk have been appointed by President-elect Donald Trump to head the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This agency aims to reduce government spending and alleviate the burden on taxpayers.
Ramaswamy and Musk have highlighted the issue of empty government offices in recent statements. Despite the absence of physical employees, the government incurs significant expenses in maintaining and providing energy to these buildings. Trump's tax-cut proposals rely on reducing federal expenditure, making DOGE's efforts essential.
Meanwhile, the defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX has announced plans to repay its creditors.
