Enterprise Blockchain Firm Ripple Collaborates with International Rescue Committee

San Francisco-based Ripple has announced a partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), a humanitarian organization dedicated to aiding individuals impacted by crises.
Ripple pledges $1 million to explore the potential of its products, including the RUSD stablecoin, in enhancing fund transfers and cash relief.
"This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Ripple," said Eric van Miltenburg of Ripple.
IRC accepts cryptocurrency donations, including Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), acknowledging the increasing prevalence of crypto contributions.
Founded in 1933, IRC operates in approximately 40 countries worldwide. Its team comprises relief workers, healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals responding to critical humanitarian crises.
Ripple has a history of charitable initiatives to enhance its reputation. Since 2018, the company has donated $170 million. Its NGO partners span over 80 countries.
Ripple recently contributed $250,000 to support recovery efforts from Hurricanes Milton and Helene.
