Floki DAO Moves Forward with ETP Proposal

If approved, Floki will become the second memecoin, following Dogecoin, to secure a registered Exchange Traded Product (ETP). Institutional investors would thus gain exposure to the memecoin.

Submitted on December 25th, the proposal allocates 16 billion FLOKI tokens, valued at $2.8 million, to an asset manager to create liquidity for the ETP. Listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, the ETP would increase liquidity.

As of now, the proposal has received 140 votes in favor with no opposition. Voting remains open until December 27th. The Floki DAO spokesperson stated, "The Floki ETP is nearing completion and is expected to launch in early Q1, 2025."
