Dogecoin Co-Founder Pokes Fun at Imperfections in ChatGPT-4o
Dogecoin Co-Founder Billy Markus, known on Twitter as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, recently shared a prompt result from OpenAI's ChatGPT-4o that revealed its limitations.
Markus prompted the latest ChatGPT-4o to "make a meme about GME stock," but the chatbot's response was far from what he expected.
ChatGPT-4o's Imperfections Exposed
Despite the advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs), the expectation is that each new version should generate improved results. However, Dogecoin's founder found that OpenAI's most sophisticated chatbot, GPT-4o, may have fallen short of expectations.
The advanced engine was recently introduced with much fanfare and promises of enhanced capabilities. However, Markus's prompt highlighted some alleged imperfections with the chatbot.
In a series of four frames, Markus demonstrated that the displayed result from GPT-4o was significantly different from what he had requested.
GameStop Stock as a Test Case
Markus's choice of GameStop stock as the subject of the meme was well-timed, as the memecoin had recently experienced a resurgence in popularity. The gaming retailer's stock had surged by over 80% since Friday's close.
As an updated LLM engine, ChatGPT-4o was expected to have the ability to accurately reflect real-world trends. However, its failure to provide a relevant response to Markus's prompt raised questions about its capabilities.
